Your privacy is important to us.  To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

Collection of Personal Information

When visiting districtcreations.com, the IP address used to access the site will be logged along with the dates and times of access. This information is purely used to analyze trends, administer the site, track users movement and gather broad demographic information for internal use. We may share this information with other people or businesses to whom we link. Most importantly, any recorded IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information unless you have provided it.

We collect User submitted personally identifiable information (“PII”) when you use the our web site. For example we may collect information you provide when you send us an email, request to be added to our news letter or otherwise communicate with us or communicate with other users through our web site. Such information may include your name, address, password, zip code, email address, and phone number for communication purposes. Information may be submitted to the Site or  Apps or via telephone or email when communicating with a District Creations representative and is never shared with others.

District Creations uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption on all pages of the web site including pages where we ask you to submit personally identifiable information and encrypt all such information for safe storage in our system.

Information we collect automatically

We also gather non-PII when you use the Service, including type of browser you use, access time, pages viewed, your IP address; and we collect information about the computer or mobile device you use to access the website, including without limitation operating system and unique device identifiers and mobile network information. This data is used to better understand and enhance the user experience on the Site and Apps. District Creations may publish these statistics or share them with third parties without including PII. Some browsers allow you to indicate that you would not like your online activities tracked, using “Do Not Track” indicators (“DNT Indicators”), however we are not obligated to respond to these indicators. Presently we are not set up to respond to DNT Indicators. This means that we may use latent information about your online activities to improve your use of our web site, but such usage is consistent with the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

Information we collect from other sources

We may also obtain information from other sources and combine that with information we collect. For example, we may collect information about you from other users, sign-in services, like Facebook Connect or Google Authenticator, when you provide District Creations  with permission to access certain information about you such as your Facebook User ID, user profile, friends list, user graph and profile picture. User generated content posted through certain social networking preferences (e.g. pages you “Like” or “Follow”) may be viewed by the general public. Accordingly, District Creations cannot ensure the privacy of any PII included in such User generated content.

Location information

When you use the District Creations website or application, a location feature exists whereby it will automatically collect your geolocation information.  We may also use location information to provide information and advertising to users. IF YOU WANT TO STOP THE AUTOMATIC COLLECTION OF YOUR LOCATION INFORMATION, YOU MAY DO SO BY USING THE PRIVACY SETTINGS ON YOUR BROWSER AND/OR ON YOUR DEVICE.

Data transmission and storage

District Creations uses industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption when collecting and transmitting your information through the web site and the District Creations network. Once information has been collected, we encrypt sensitive data in our database for added security. District Creations also uses firewalls and hardware monitoring across our system to protect against unauthorized access. Unfortunately, even with these measures, District Creations  cannot guarantee the security of PII. By using our website or application, you acknowledge and agree that District Creations  makes no such guarantee, and that you use the our service at your own risk.

Financial information

If you elect to pay for services with a credit card, we will use a third party to process this information. We do not store credit card numbers or other payment details on the site.

Use of cookies

District Creations  uses cookies to help create a better user experience. A cookie is a small text file that is sent to your browser from a web server and may be stored on your computer’s hard drive. The system uses cookies to better customize your experience on the site based on user attributes like your location and account preferences. No personally identifiable information is stored in our cookies. The Site is hosted in the United States and is governed by United States law. The data protection and other laws of the United States and other countries might not be as comprehensive as those in your country.
